Tae Kwon Do 'the way of hands and feet'; is a Martial Art originated in Korea known for its powerful, quick, sharp, and effective kicks. It became an official Olympic sport at the Games held in Sydney 2000, Australia. Today it is practiced in over 140 countries by 20 million people.

Needless to say that it is the most popular martial art in the world.  UMA TaeKwonDo-HapKiDo Institute at Copperfield and Sugarland offers classes starting from 3 years old in the following levels:

• Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced,
• Family program,
• Instructor course and
• Sparring.

Classes are given in our state-of-the-art 4500sq feet dojo from Mondays thru Saturdays. Please see our schedule or contact us for more details. Private Lessons are available by appointment, they are oriented to provide:

• Focused training based on individual requirements.

Hapkido 'way of coordinating power.' A Korean martial art characterized by kicking without retraction and composed of three primary skills: non-resistance when meeting force, circular motion to countering and attacking, and the water principle - total penetration of an enemy's defenses.
